How to Get your Telstra ID?
Register yourself on the Telstra official website. Now you can use your Telstra ID and password to connect to the Telstra Air hotspot. This process is similar to any other wireless network connection. Telstra Air app can also automatically connect you to hotspots when you’re in range. You can also get your Telstra ID and password by registering yourself on the Telstra Air mobile app.
If you cannot find your Telstra ID and username, then click on the Forgotten Username or Forgotten Password links on the login page of the Telstra Air mobile app.
How to connect to Telstra Air using Telstra Air mobile app on an iOS device?
- Go to Settings. Make sure that your Wi-Fi is turned ON.
- Now open the Telstra Air mobile app.
- Enter your Telstra ID and password on the login page.
- A new page opens displaying your Telstra Air connection status, and various other options like Connect, Hotspots, Usage, Settings, and Help.
- Telstra Air mobile app will show all the hotspots in your range.
- Open your Device Settings. Click on Wi-Fi to get a list of networks in range.
- Tap on Telstra Air network. Once connected, your status will change to Connected to the Telstra Air mobile app.
- Next time onwards Telstra Air app will automatically connect you to hotspots when you’re in range.
- Telstra Air app works properly on iOS version 7 and above.
How to connect with Telstra Air mobile app
- Go to Settings. Make sure that your Wi-Fi is turned ON.
- Now open the Telstra Air mobile app.
- Enter your Telstra ID and password on the login page.
- A new page opens displaying your Telstra Air connection status, and various other options like Connect, Hotspots, Usage, Settings, and Help.
- Select the “Connect” option.
- Once successfully connected, your status will change to Connected to the Telstra Air mobile app.
- Next time onwards Telstra Air app will automatically connect you to hotspots when you’re in the range provided that your Wi-Fi is turned on and you are logged into the app.
- This auto-connect feature is switched off by default on Android devices. Go to the app settings to turn it on.
- Telstra Air app works properly on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above.
How to connect to a laptop or device without Telstra Air app?
- There is no Telstra Air app for the laptop. So, go to Settings. Make sure that your Wi-Fi is turned ON.
- Open your Device Settings. Click on Wi-Fi to get a list of networks in range.
- Connect to the Telstra Air network.
- The Captive Portal Page will open.
- Enter your Telstra ID and password in this page to access the Telstra Air network.
- If the Captive Portal Page does not open, then open a web browser on your laptop. Accessing the Telstra Air Network using your home broadband allowance requires you to be a member of the Telstra Air Community.
