What Services Does ALDI mobile Offer?
Services consist of prepaid mobile telecommunication plans. These plans are prepaid based only. There are no postpaid plans offered by ALDI mobile. The entire service uses the Telstra 3G and 4G network. This MVNO receives slightly smaller than the full Telstra wide area coverage. You will receive the full network coverage in urban areas. However, you may be affected in extremely remote locations.
How Much Does ALDI mobile Cost?
There are mainly two types of ALDI mobile SIM only tiers. They are:
- ALDI mobile prepaid plan tier: This SIM only tier has the validity of 30 days. It is a prepaid monthly plan tier. The plans included in this tier are Jumbo Plan, XXL Plan, XL Plan, L Plan, and S Plan. Their price ranges from $15 to $45. Parts of Telstra 3G or 4G network is used for wide area coverage. It offers unlimited national standard calls and unlimited national messages. Jumbo Plan and XXL Plan give you 4 GB and 3 GB bonus data respectively. This special offer ends on 28th February 2018. All other plans, namely, XL Plan, L Plan, and S Plan offer you 1 GB of bonus data. In case you go over the limited amount of data allowance per month then, extra data is charged at the rate of $10 per 1GB.
- ALDI mobile Pay as you go plan tier: This SIM only tier has the validity of 365 days. It is a pay as you go plan tier. The plans included in this tier are $5 plan, $15 plan and $30 plan. Parts of Telstra 3G or 4G network is used for wide area coverage. It offers limited national standard calls and limited national messages. Standard national call and text message is charged at 12c each. Data is priced at 5c per MB. In other words, extra data is charged at the rate of $0.05 per 1MB. Pay as you go plans do not have any bundled inclusions.
What Extras Does ALDI mobile Offer?
The prepaid monthly plans have the feature of data rollover facility. You can roll over the unused data over the next month only if you recharge at the same. This rollover of data facility is available only for Jumbo Plan, XXL Plan, XL Plan and L Plan. Selected plans also include a limited number of international calling minutes to few selected countries. Pay as you go plans gives you a credit which lasts for full 365 days. This is a good selection if you need only a mobile number to last a long period of time.
